We are Being PUSHED!

Although, we are only few weeks into the new year, it has been very interesting what the Holy Spirit has been saying to me and maybe you too. I believe that in 2023, we are going to be PUSHED into our Purpose, like never before.  At first, I was a little concerned that He was changing His message to me, which is impossible, nor does He contradict Himself, so I had to listen very carefully.  So, His message has not changed, however, He’s accelerating the process, and therefore a “supernatural strategy” is required.  When I first heard that term from Dr. Dharius Daniels, he said that that strategy is hope, which is an action word, not an emotion, which is very true.  However, I believe that the Lord is going to PUSH us this year, because He is truly tired of waiting for us to do what He has already told us to do.  Here are just components of our strategy for this year and I’m sure that we will talk more about them as the year progresses.

  • Simple addition will become multiplication. We will get more, in less time.
  • Our steps are still ordered, but they will become leaps. We will go farther, faster.
  • Be ready to use what He’s already given us.  We are enough, which is why He chose us.  But some of us have stalled waiting for the Lord to do it all.
  • Listen for guidance without all the details.  Don’t stop moving while we wait for further instructions.
  • It will require our thinking, innovation, and creativity. He’s given us the ideas; we now must act on them.  We may need to change our attitude, or it may require a mindset shift.
  • Don’t change course because we are on the right track.

Then I heard Him say, “hinds’ feet”; in two different messages, by two different preachers, on two different topics, referencing to two different scriptures.  I believe that when we are intentional about hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit, we cannot afford to write something off as small or insignificant.  So, I looked it up.

The phrase ‘hinds’ feet’ is used in the Bible to denote an ability to overcome difficult challenges successfully.  A hind, which is a female red deer, can move quickly and easily across the rocks of a mountain, leaping from one rock to another without ever losing its footing.

I don’t know about you, but my last few years have been slow and steady.  But it looks like we are going to have to quicken our pace.  Stumbling blocks are not going to slow us down and the mountains that we must climb will not stop us.  I’m ready to meet those challenges head on, how about you? We are being PUSHED out of our comfort zone and beyond what we may consider our inadequacies and our limitations.  I’m expecting the Lord to do a “new thing” in 2023 and with the help of the Holy Spirit, but we must have a “supernatural strategy”.

The Lord may not tell us specifically to get out of the boat, but when, mind you, I didn’t say if, we do, He’s right there to keep us from going under.  He is saying to us the same thing, as He said to Peter (paraphrased), “Look how far you’ve come, why did you stop?  Oh, ye of little faith”. It will take all our faith to LEAP, especially when we have no idea where we are headed.   But we must keep our spiritual eyes and ears open; and remember, the Lord has given us “hind’s feet”.  David said, in Psalms 18,

32 God arms me with strength,
and he makes my way perfect.
33 He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
enabling me to stand on mountain heights.

psalm 18:32-33

We must not let our failures of the past influence our faith and negatively impact our abilities for the future.  We know that when our hopes and expectations are low, our anxiety is high.  We must be confident in what the Lord has already put in us and be ready to use it.

12-14 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

philippians 3:12-14 MSG

By faith, I can see my supernatural strategy unfolding….

How about you?
